Astronomy Roadmap for Research and Infrastructure 2025–2028 and beyond by the Swiss Astronomy and Astrophysics Community
This community roadmap provides an updated view of the fast evolution of astronomy in Switzerland, with a clear emphasis on major (and new) developments in the field and on the associated large infrastructure needs in the years 2025–2028 and beyond. It has been prepared by the Swiss Commission for Astronomy (SCFA) of the SCNAT acting as the bureau of CHAPS, the College of Helvetic Astronomy Professors.
The roadmap represents the view of the Swiss scientific community in the field of astronomy and astrophysics and is a formal element of the process to elaborate the Swiss Roadmap for Research Infrastructures 2023. This bottom-up contribution to the identification and selection of important national and international research infrastructures has been coordinated by the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) on a mandate by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).

Compassionate Science - Integrating Empathy and Compassion in Research
This report explores how empathy and compassion shape research practices across disciplines. Drawing on a review of existing literature and illustrative examples from early-career researchers, it shows that empathy and compassion are not abstract ideals but practical dimensions of research that can influence study design, relationships, data interpretation, and knowledge translation. Across fields, integrating these dimensions can strengthen trust, deepen understanding, improve collaboration, and enhance ethical reflexivity.

Baukosten und Finanzierung von neuen Kernkraftwerken in der Schweiz
Der vorliegende Bericht bietet eine detailliertere Analyse über die beobachtete Entwicklung der Baukosten von neuen KKW und erörtert die möglichen Kosten eines allfälligen Neubaus in der Schweiz sowie deren Unsicherheiten. Zudem werden aktuelle Finanzierungsmodelle in Europa sowie die mit einem Bau verbundenen finanziellen Risiken für den Staat und die Wirtschaft dargestellt.

Zwölf Jahre nach dem ersten MINT-Nachwuchsbarometer zeigt die neue Ausgabe 2026: Das Interesse an MINT ist weitgehend stabil geblieben, Stereotype halten sich hartnäckig und Frauen unterschätzen ihre eigenen Kompetenzen. Gleichzeitig gibt es differenziertere Befunde als erwartet und klare Stellschrauben.
