Highlights of the 25th Anniversary of ALLEA - Summarised in a Mood Film

Delegates of 60 Academies from 40 European countries met in Bern on May 8 and 9 with key actors in arts, science and politics. Panel discussions, interactive sessions and special moments marked the 25th anniversary of the All European Academies (ALLEA). Particularly in the age of fake news, dialogue about science in society is crucial.

The following mood film takes us back to the multi-faceted event, where critical inputs were also made within short interviews. The highlights are summarised in a short video. Please enjoy!

Take your Time – a Walk through the Scientific Landscape of Bern

Explore the city of Bern from a new perspective. As you stroll through the city, learn how memorable locations related to science intersect with the lives of notable researchers. The map Berne Scientifique covers 14 people and 14 places connected to research and academia in Bern. These 21 walks around the city, which can easily be combined, are grouped into seven science hotspots. Discover, experience, and feel the spirit of this World Heritage Site!

We had the pleasure to initiate the first Science Walk on the 25th Anniversary of ALLEA in May!
